Sweet Pea Knitting
Passion for Fiber
Knit. Spin. Live.
About Us
Sweet Pea Knitting was born in 2008 in the lovely city of Portland, Maine.
Growing up in cold and snowy Maine, I learned to knit at the age of 8. However, it wasn't until almost 20 years later that I developed a passion for fiber and its manipulation through spinning and knitting. I am completely floored by one's ability to take a 2 dimensional strand of yarn and transform that strand into a 3 dimensional object with purpose. Amazing!
Now, I invite you to share this adventure in the exploration of fiber with me!
Cheers,
Tiffany

A look at all the markers Laurie and I made yesterday!
Laurie's Hand Made Designs
I put these together myself!
Laurie taught me how to make these!
I couldn't resist these beads! They are so lovely!
Sweet Fern Mitts by Clara Parkes in her "Big Book of Wool". I am working this piece in Debbie Bliss' Donegal Luxury Tweed. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with the cable and had to perform reconstructive surgery to fix the twist!

I cast on for "Cru" by Ines Sousa today. Her pattern can be found on Ravelry or http://seni-handmade.blogspot.com/. www.sweetpeaknitting.com
